Tertulia: Reconstructing our identity

Provocative Activity 

With the purpose of introducing our inquiry units: «Who We are» and «Where we are in place and time», we held a very entertaining social gathering in which two generations shared the traditions and customs of their grandparents.  

Students had the chance to listen and ask questions about family histories and the stories of their ancestors.  In this way, they began to understand the origin of our identity and why we are the way we are.  It was a great opportunity to recognize the family legacy from the stories of the grandparents.

The children received them with great affection and kids were surprised by objects from the past that they brought with them and their transformation over time.

Thanks to the grandparents who visited us and contributed to the recognition of our identity.

Actividad Provocadora

Con el propósito de introducir nuestras unidades de indagación «Quiénes somos» y «Dónde nos encontramos en el tiempo y en el espacio», organizamos una tertulia muy entretenida en la que dos generaciones compartieron las tradiciones y costumbres de sus abuelos.

Los estudiantes tuvieron la oportunidad de escuchar y hacer preguntas acerca de las historias familiares y los relatos de sus antepasados. De esta manera, comenzaron a comprender el origen de nuestra identidad y por qué somos como somos. Fue una gran oportunidad para reconocer el legado familiar a través de las narraciones de los abuelitos.

Los chicos recibieron con gran cariño a los abuelitos y se sorprendieron con los objetos del pasado que trajeron y con su transformación a lo largo del tiempo. Agradecemos a los abuelitos que nos visitaron y aportaron al reconocimiento de nuestra identidad.
