On February 14th, Colegio Nueva York embraced the spirit of love with a special celebration promoted by the Foreign Languages Department. Under the theme «Love Myself First, So I Can Love Others,» students from 10th grade led engaging activities for primary school children, creating a joyful and meaningful experience. The event featured interactive games, fun photo sessions, and dynamic activities that encouraged students to reflect on the importance of self-love.
As part of this initiative, students wrote heartfelt letters to themselves in English during their homeroom session, reinforcing positive affirmations and self-appreciation. This activity aimed to inspire self-awareness and emotional well-being, aligning with the school’s commitment to holistic education. The celebration was a wonderful opportunity for students to express kindness to themselves and others while practicing their English skills in a creative way.
