Los estudiantes de Prejardín iniciaron la unidad de indagación “Who We Are” a través de una actividad provocadora. Los niños exploraron una caja misteriosa que contenía un espejo, tarjetas de emociones, un objeto suave y una imagen de una familia. Respondieron preguntas sobre qué les gusta y qué los pone tristes, enojados o felices. Mientras se observaban en el espejo, se describieron a sí mismos y compartieron cómo son sus familias, descubriendo que la persona más especial dentro de la caja eran ellos mismos.

Discovering Who We Are

Pre-Kindergarten students began the unit of inquiry “Who We Are” through a meaningful provocation activity. The children explored a mystery box containing a mirror, emotion cards, a soft object, and a family image. They answered questions about what they like and what makes them feel happy, sad, or angry. While looking at themselves in the mirror, they described who they are and shared how their families are, discovering that the most special person in the box was themselves.
