On Wednesday, February 14th, we celebrated Valentine’s Day at Colegio Nueva York, strengthening the sense of community by bringing together students, teachers, and staff in shared experiences that enrich our school environment; likewise, it prepares us for success in a global society. This day went beyond the classroom, as our students and staff were promoting the use of English through messages of gratitude and love that correspond to this celebration in all areas of the school. From the Department of Acquired Languages (Group 2) and CAS, with students in grades 10th and 11th, activities such as crafts, message delivery, song dedications, love reminders, among others, were promoted. These allowed the activity to have a pedagogical and didactic meaning, and above all, it fosters an international mindset based on love, brotherhood, and gratitude. We thank the entire community for participating.
