Para dar inicio al tercer trimestre, nuestros estudiantes participaron en una actividad que permitió introducir las unidades de indagación “Cómo compartimos el planeta” y “Cómo nos expresamos” a través de una experiencia cercana y significativa.

Recibimos la visita de integrantes de la Fundación Corazón Animal Vegano, quienes compartieron su labor, los desafíos que enfrentan y la importancia de promover acciones orientadas al bienestar y la protección de los animales.

Durante el encuentro, los estudiantes reflexionaron sobre el poder de sus voces y sobre cómo sus palabras, decisiones y acciones pueden generar cambios positivos. Además, entregaron las donaciones recolectadas durante el cierre de la unidad del segundo trimestre, convirtiendo sus aprendizajes en una contribución concreta para la Fundación y los animales que esta acompaña.

Así, iniciamos este nuevo trimestre comprendiendo que nuestras voces y acciones tienen el poder de inspirar, movilizar y transformar nuestra comunidad.

The Power of Our Voices: An Experience in Sharing the Planet

To begin the third term, our students participated in an activity that introduced the Units of Inquiry “Sharing the Planet” and “How We Express Ourselves” through a meaningful experience connected to their lives.

We welcomed members of the Corazón Animal Vegano Foundation, who shared their work, the challenges they face, and the importance of taking action to promote animal welfare and protection.

During the visit, students reflected on the power of their voices and how their words, decisions, and actions can create positive change. They also presented the donations collected at the end of the second-term unit, turning their learning into a tangible contribution to the Foundation and the animals it supports.

In this way, we began the new term with the understanding that our voices and actions have the power to inspire, mobilize, and transform our community.
