NEW YORK CITY – CIERRE DE UNIDAD – GRADO TERCERO

El martes 15 de noviembre los estudiantes de grado tercero realizaron el cierre de unidad “Cómo funciona el mundo”, a través de un hermoso trabajo llamado NEW YORK CITY, una ciudad que fomenta en ellos el uso de los atributos del IB y la puesta en escena de conceptos relacionados como: la organización, el servicio, la creatividad y la innovación. Con la creación de stands, los estudiantes ofrecieron productos que benefician a la sociedad, los niños compartieron con sus compañeros y docentes la felicidad de obtener resultados y sentirse agentes activos en su colegio, para motivar e inspirar a otros a trabajar en equipo por el bienestar de su entorno y de sí mismos.  La ciudad nos movilizó con amor, ilusiones y la adrenalina de ser protagonistas de sueños y realidades. ¡Qué mejor forma de despedir el año que con aprendizajes y felicidad!

NEW YORK CITY – MEANINGFUL EXPERIENCE – THIRD GRADE

 November the 15th was a great day to experience the city of New York designed and held by our third graders.  This remarkable day allowed students to enjoy their outcomes from the unit: How the world works and applying the related concepts like service, creativity, organization and innovation.   The city contained stands which were focused in offering a service such as food, entertainment and health.  Third graders felt active agents of knowledge and great representatives of the IB attributes that led the experience to a joyful day around a city that wanted to represent how important we all are in a community to make the world work but most of all, how our actions can provide everything around us with respect, values and knowledge.   Such a nice way to say goodbye to the school year.
