New York School is an official candidate school for the Primary Years Programme (PYP) to the International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO)
Our institution is proud to announce the acceptance as candidate school to be authorized in the Primary Years Program by the International Baccalaureate Organization. This is the first step of many more to become part of a great world, full of meaningful experiences for children and the entire community. Being part of this amazing program, that enhances importance of values in education to be citizens of the world with an open mind, conviction and actions to make a better place to live together in peace and respect with our planet and the rest of the living things we share it, make us feel and think we are in the right path to “educate minds and form hearts”.
The next step in this process will be starting our preparation for the authorization in 2022, when the IBO will visit our school to see how we are changing education through a transdisciplinary program and the accomplishment of the IB philosophy and the CNY values to set the goal described before.
