The school is always concerned on teaching culture and civilization to our students. The last March 17th, we celebrated Saint Patrick’s Day. Children and teachers came to school with green clothes or accessories. They had the possibility to know the origins of this catholic celebration in which Saint Patrick, an Irish bishop, converted pagans to Christianity.
Students from 3D watched videos related to this celebration, learnt the main vocabulary and additionally ate a delicious Saint Patrick’s cake made by Mrs. Urimare Paz Castillo, the mother of Valeria Rivas one of our students. It was beautifully decorated using the common symbols of this day. We really appreciate the participation of our parents in the development of the school activities. Thank you!
