Los estudiantes de Pre-Jardín dieron apertura a las unidades de indagación How We Organize Ourselves y How We Express Ourselves a través de una actividad provocadora que despertó su curiosidad, entusiasmo y deseo de aprender.

Caracterizados como enfermeros, chefs, docentes y otros miembros de la comunidad, los niños iniciaron este recorrido explorando su entorno cercano: la comunidad educativa. Durante la actividad, saludaron a diferentes integrantes del colegio, conocieron sus nombres, descubrieron sus profesiones y comenzaron a comprender la importancia de cada rol dentro del funcionamiento de una comunidad.

A través de esta experiencia, los estudiantes no solo se acercaron a la realidad de distintos oficios y profesiones, sino que también fortalecieron habilidades como la formulación de preguntas, la expresión de ideas y el reconocimiento del valor de cada persona dentro de su entorno.

Este fue el inicio de un proceso de indagación que les permitirá comprender cómo nos organizamos y cómo nos expresamos dentro de una comunidad.

A Beginning Full of Questions and Discoveries

Pre-K students launched their Units of Inquiry, How We Organize Ourselves and How We Express Ourselves, through a provocation activity that sparked their curiosity, enthusiasm, and excitement for learning.

Dressed as nurses, chefs, teachers, and other community members, the children began this journey by exploring their immediate environment: the school community. During the activity, they greeted different members of the school, learned their names, discovered their professions, and began to understand the importance of each role within a community.

Through this experience, students not only connected with real-life professions and roles, but also strengthened skills such as asking questions, expressing ideas, and recognizing the value of every person around them.

This activity marked the beginning of an inquiry process that will guide them in understanding how we organize ourselves and how we express ourselves within a community.
