En Prejardín dimos inicio a nuestra unidad de indagación “How We Organize Ourselves”, con una divertida y significativa actividad provocadora. Los niños y niñas llegaron al colegio caracterizados como distintos miembros de la comunidad educativa, representando con entusiasmo a maestros, vigilantes, auxiliares, jardineros, bibliotecarios y más. A través del juego simbólico, lograron identificar los diferentes roles y responsabilidades que hacen posible el funcionamiento del colegio, desarrollando empatía y sentido de pertenencia. Esta experiencia despertó en ellos el interés por comprender cómo se organiza nuestra comunidad educativa y de qué manera cada uno puede contribuir desde su rol.

In Pre-K, we launched our new unit of inquiry “How We Organize Ourselves” with a fun and meaningful provocation activity: the children came to school dressed up as different members of the school community, enthusiastically representing teachers, security guards, assistants, gardeners, librarians, and more. Through symbolic play, they were able to recognize the various roles and responsibilities that make the school work, developing empathy and a sense of belonging. This experience sparked their curiosity to learn how our school community is organized and how each person can contribute through their role.
