El miércoles 22 de julio vivimos con gran alegría el segundo encuentro del Plan Padrino, una experiencia que permitió fortalecer los lazos de cariño y amistad entre nuestros estudiantes de Prejardín, Jardín y Transición y sus padrinos y madrinas de Grado 11.

La jornada comenzó con unas palabras muy especiales de los estudiantes de Transición, quienes, con gran ternura, compartieron sus mejores deseos para sus compañeros de Grado 11. Sus mensajes llegaron al corazón y les recordaron que cuentan con el cariño, el apoyo y los buenos deseos de toda nuestra comunidad.

En esta ocasión, nuestros pequeños llevaron a sus padrinos y madrinas a un mundo mágico: el mundo de la infancia. Por un momento, los estudiantes más grandes volvieron a ser niños y recordaron la alegría de correr, saltar, reír y disfrutar de actividades tan especiales como volar una cometa. Entre música, juegos y mucha diversión, compartieron una jornada llena de energía, carreras, saltos y, sobre todo, innumerables sonrisas.

Fue una oportunidad para que nuestros pequeños les regalaran a sus padrinos algo muy especial: la posibilidad de revivir su infancia y dejar volar sus sueños mientras disfrutaban juntos de la magia de las cosas sencillas.

Para finalizar este maravilloso encuentro, los niños entregaron a sus padrinos y madrinas de Grado 11 un obsequio preparado con mucho cariño, pensado para acompañarlos y serles de utilidad en el importante reto académico que están próximos a enfrentar: la prueba Saber 11. Este detalle fue también una muestra de afecto y un mensaje sincero de apoyo, recordándoles que sus pequeños ahijados creen en ellos y les desean lo mejor.

Sin duda, este segundo encuentro del Plan Padrino nos recordó que la magia está en compartir, que los sueños pueden volar tan alto como una cometa y que los vínculos construidos desde el cariño dejan huellas para toda la vida.

¡Gracias a nuestros estudiantes de Prejardín, Jardín y Transición por regalarnos tanta alegría y ternura, y a nuestros padrinos y madrinas de Grado 11 por dejarse llevar nuevamente por la magia de la infancia!

A Magical Journey Back to Childhood: Kites, Smiles, and Best Wishes

On Wednesday, July 22, we joyfully celebrated the second gathering of the Plan Padrino program, a meaningful experience that strengthened the bonds of friendship and affection between our Pre-K, Kindergarten, and Transition students and their Grade 11 godparents.

The day began with some truly special words from our Transition students, who, with great tenderness, shared their heartfelt wishes for their Grade 11 peers. Their messages touched our hearts and reminded our senior students that they are surrounded by the love, support, and best wishes of our entire school community.

This time, our youngest students invited their godparents into a magical world: the world of childhood. For a moment, our senior students became children again, rediscovering the joy of running, jumping, laughing, and enjoying special activities such as flying kites. Surrounded by music, games, and plenty of fun, they shared a joyful day filled with energy, movement, and, above all, countless smiles.

It was a beautiful opportunity for our youngest students to give their godparents something truly special: the chance to reconnect with their childhood and let their dreams soar once again while enjoying the magic found in life’s simplest moments.

To bring this wonderful gathering to a close, the children presented their Grade 11 godparents with a thoughtful gift prepared with great care. It was intended to accompany and support them as they prepare for the important academic challenge they will soon face: the Saber 11 examination. More than just a present, it was a heartfelt gesture of affection and encouragement, reminding them that their young godchildren believe in them and wish them every success.

Without a doubt, this second Plan Padrino gathering reminded us that magic lies in sharing, that dreams can soar as high as a kite, and that bonds built through love and affection leave lasting impressions on our hearts.

Thank you to our Pre-K, Kindergarten, and Transition students for filling this day with so much joy and tenderness, and to our Grade 11 godparents for allowing themselves to be carried away once again by the magic of childhood.
